Dear Devotee

Please find enclosed a flyer (pdf file) of forthcoming “Swar Ninaad” - Indian Classical Vocal Concert (including bhajans) to be held on the 28th August (Saturday) at the Sacred Heart Girls’ College Art Centre starting at 4.00 pm. This is being organized by the Migrant Heritage Charitable Trust in conjunction with Sri Balaji Temple Trust, Hamilton.

It is a great opportunity for the New Zealanders to hear great Indian musicians such as pundit Ganapati Bhat, who is a disciple of Bharat Ratna Pt Bhimsen Joshi and Pt Basavaraj Rajguru.

Kindly circulate the flyer in your networks and motivate people to attend the classical concert.

Sravanam (hearing the Glory of the Lord) and keertanam (singing the Glory of the Lord) promote worshiping the Lord. The bhajans and music that are sung permeate in the form of sound waves and fill the entire atmosphere. Thereby the whole environment gets purified. Breathing in this purified atmosphere, our hearts get purified. Devotional music and bhajans are therefore supremely valuable.
