Temple Gruha Pravesham and Sri Satyanaranayana Swamy Puja - 2014

Greetings and best wishes.

Sri Balaji Temple Trust is happy to inform you that the Temple Gruha Pravesham and Satyanarayana Swamy Puja will be held on Saturday, 25th Jan 2014 starting at 9.00 am.

Venue: Sri Balaji Temple premises, 2 Kent Street, Frankton, Hamilton.

You are cordially invited to participate in the celebrations of Temple Gruha Pravesham, puja and Homam.

Only 108 families are provided with the opportunity to join and perform Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham (puja) by donating $51.00 per family. The Homam will be performed by Chandru Kurukkal, Chief Priest of the Auckland Sri Ganesh Temple, Papakura.

Please register early to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited. Please find enclosed a flyer on the Puja / Homam and a donation form for your use. Kindly circulate this information, along with the enclosures, in your networks and kindly motivate people to participate in "Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham (puja) and Homam".

All the donations ($5 and above) may be claimed for NZ income tax purposes.

Please pay your donations / memberships into SBTT Bank (please refer flyer) or send a cheque, drawn in favour of “Sri Balaji Temple Trust Hamilton” New Zealand to the Treasurer or to the undersigned with your name and contact details.


The Homam will start promptly at 9.00 AM and finish at 12 Noon. This will be followed by prasadam (lunch). You should be free to leave by around 1.00 PM.

Please ensure you are at the hall positively by 9.00AM. This will give you time to check your details are correct in the list and to add the names of your children you would like Sri Chandru ji to include while performing Sankalpam.

What to bring:

Please bring flowers and fruits to be used at the Puja / Homam. Also please feel free to bring prasadam – this would be offered to the Lord and placed along with the prasadam and lunch organised by the Trust.

What to take back:

Please remember to collect Sri Satyanarayana Swamy coin (blessed).

Also, please obtain a receipt for your donation before you leave. All donations may be claimed for NZ income tax purposes.

A ballot will be drawn, on the day just before the Homam, in presence of the devotees to identify one couple that will represent all participants to perform the Homam along with Sri Chandru ji.
