Monthly Bhajans and Prayers

posted Apr 24, 2011, 7:41 PM by Sri Balaji Temple Trust   [ updated Sep 14, 2016, 11:59 AM ]

Dear Devotee

As you all know, sravanam (hearing the Glory of the Lord) and keertanam (singing the Glory of the Lord) promote worshiping the Lord. The bhajans and music that are sung permeate in the form of sound waves and fill the entire atmosphere. Thereby the whole environment gets purified. Breathing in this purified atmosphere, our hearts get purified. Devotional music and bhajans are therefore supremely valuable.

As such, the Balaji Temple Trust (SBTT) have organised bhajans and prayers on the third Friday of every month  starting 7.30 pm sharp and finishes by 8.30 pm.

Please come with your family and friends to participate in the bhajans and prayers, and kindly circulate this information in your networks.

Participants can sing devotional songs in any of the Indian languages such as Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam etc. Devotees wish to sing the songs and bhajans may please provide a copy of the lyrics in advance to the Secretary of the Trust, so that copies could be printed and distributed to enable the other devotees to follow with ease.

This month's bhajans on will be held on Friday, the 16th September 2016 between 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm at Sri Balaji Temple Premises, 2 Kent Street (corner of King & Kent St), Frankton, Hamilton 3204.

Please pencil in your diary.

The devotees, who wanted to sponsor the event and perform Aarathi on any of the above dates, please book with the secretary  OR use Contact link , as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

SBTT is grateful for your support and participation.
